Our general terms and conditions

These general terms and conditions are a contractual component of the order placed by the bridal couple for a wedding celebration at the Jufenalm. Any other conditions are invalid. The bridal couple accepts these conditions, as well as all relevant trade regulations, and assumes liability for their compliance by placing the order.

Payment and cancellation conditions

From the date of the fixed written confirmation by the Jufenalm, the hotel guarantees the reservation for 14 days. Within this period of 14 days a 1st deposit in the amount of 5.000€ has to be paid to the hotel. Only after receipt of this deposit the booking is considered as a fixed booking on the part of the hotel. A cancellation free of charge is therefore only possible within this 1st deposit period of 14 days.

Up to 32 weeks before the wedding a 2nd deposit of 10.000€ has to be paid.

In case of non-compliance with the two deposit deadlines, the hotel reserves the right to assign the reserved rooms as well as the booked date to someone else.

If you cancel your booked wedding ceremony, the first deposit paid as a reservation and consultation fee will be forfeited in any case.

Should 60% or 80% cancellation fee be due, the Jufenalm will charge the selected package price for each expected wedding guest according to the preliminary discussion.

The cancellation fee is also due in the event of the occurrence of an unavoidable event in the sphere of the guest.

Additions or alterations on the part of the Jufenalm are not considered a basis for cancellation.

Both down payments will be offset in the final settlement.

The above cancellation fees are understood to be a regret fee and not a penalty.

The above cancellation regulation is understood against the background that, according to experience, no comparable replacement weddings can be found within the cancellation period. Due to the high personnel costs and the fact that a rescheduling within the cancellation period is not possible according to experience, the agreed regret money in the form of the cancellation fee for the Jufenalm is an angel substitute.

Warranty & Settlement

At least 2 weeks before the event, the announcement of the food selection / the selected arrangement, as well as 1 week before the exact number of participating persons is required. This number is considered the guaranteed minimum number of participants and will be charged to the organizer in any case. Should more persons (than ordered) participate beyond this, the actual number of persons present will be charged.

The hotel is further entitled to exchange the room charged for the event with another room at any time, as well as to revise the calculation for the event should the guaranteed number change.

Food & Drinks

Without the permission of the Jufenalm management, no food and beverages may be brought into the hotel and associated premises for consumption. The Jufenalm reserves the right to charge an appropriate fee for food and beverages brought into the hotel.

Service

The hotel will be happy to provide staff to the guest after midnight (official closing time).

Decoration

The bridal couple is obliged to have the attachment of decoration material approved by the Jufenalm. Installation only by qualified personnel in compliance with fire regulations. All costs arising from the production/dismantling of decoration material (as well as labor costs for decoration, placement of candles, etc.) are to be borne by the bridal couple: hourly rate per person 60,00€. Additional costs arise for not organized but needed decoration items, which the Jufenalm provides (e.g. candles).

Overnight stay

The cancellation of a room will be charged according to Austrian hotel regulations. This applies to all room bookings.

Check-in possible from 3 pm, check-out requested by 10 am. After 10 a.m. there is an extra charge of 20€ per hour or part thereof for late check-out.

If the room is changed at the request of the guests, a cleaning fee of 50€ per room will be charged.

Unbooked rooms will be charged to the bride and groom.

Prices & Billing

All prices offered are in Euro and include all taxes. Valid until revoked. Errors and price changes excepted. Invoices are payable without deductions in cash on site or by card.

The advance payments made will be offset in the final settlement.

Other

- FROM 24.00 HOURS, THE PARTY IS NOT ALLOWED IN THE OUTDOOR AREA, TERRACES.

- WHEN FIRING A FIREWORK, THIS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE MUNICIPALITY BEFORE BE APPROVED AS WE ARE INFORMED! LATEST FIRING AT 21.30 CLOCK POSSIBLE!

- THE VOLUME OF THE MUSIC WILL BE REDUCED FROM 2.00 A.M. ONWARDS.

IF THE MUSIC IS TOO LOUD, OUR SERVICE STAFF WILL INFORM THE BAND INFORM THE BAND TO PLAY QUIETER.

- YOU (YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY) ARE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE, CONTAMINATION, FIRE HOLES CAUSED BY YOU AND YOUR GUESTS.

- FOR THE PROVISION OF FURTHER ROOMS, E.G. FOR CHILD CARE CHILDCARE, ADDITIONAL COSTS ARE INCURRED.

- THE PHOTO LOCATIONS ARE TO BE LEFT IN TIDY CONDITION.

- PLEASE NOTE THAT IN THE ENTIRE AREA OF THE JUFENALM RICE, CONFETTI, FRESH FLOWER PETALS, ETC. ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE SCATTERED SHOULD THIS NEVERTHELESS BE DESIRED / DONE, A CLEANING FEE WILL BE CLEANING FEE WILL BE CHARGED.

- ERRANDS COMMISSIONED WILL BE CHARGED EVEN IF NOT USED (E.G. BECAUSE WEATHER CONDITIONS DO NOT ALLOW IT). WILL STILL BE CHARGED.

Meetings

Should the bride and groom require more than 5 hours of on-site meetings with the hosts, each additional hour will be charged at 40€.

Data protection

The Jufenalm takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and according to the legal data protection regulations.

We point out that data transmission over the Internet (eg communication by e-mail) security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. We transmit personal data to third parties only if this is necessary in the context of contract execution, e.g. to your service providers who have been commissioned by you.

A further transmission of the data does not take place or only if you have expressly consented to the transmission. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your express consent, for example for advertising purposes.

The basis for the data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the purpose of

fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Liability

For damages caused by guests, employees or agents of the bridal couple, they are liable themselves. The hotel is liable for damage to or loss of items brought in only in the case of its own fault and in no case in the case of fault of third parties.

This is especially true for damage that requires dry cleaning (e.g., table linens).

Termination by the hotel

The hotel may terminate the contractual relationship if the event jeopardizes the smooth operation of the business, the organizer violates legal requirements, the reputation and safety of the house are at risk, agreed payments on account are not received in time and in the event of force majeure. In such a case, the organizer is in no way entitled to assert claims for compensation.
